Harvesting, picking

Harvesting, picking

The garden is not simply about nurturing. It also offers to build links and fond memories with family and friends. To our amazement, this piece of land reminds us  that, without Nature, Humankind would simply not exist.
These vegetables, whose evolution has been watched day after day, will offer to rediscover the pleasure of authentic flavors when they simmer in a good pot-au-feu, a homemade ratatouille or even when parsley, chervil or chives will blend their freshness in a mixed salad.
Like the pottery or basketry which takes life in the hands of the craftsman, the meal will be studied, carved, fashioned from the beginning of spring when the sap rises to autumn, after the summer sun has allowed the ripening before the long-waited harvest. Storage in the cellar then takes on a special meaning.
